Make your card stand

Stick it on your fridge, stick it on your pin board, jam it into the edge of a mirror, prop it against an ornament; these are all great ways to display your postcard, but what if there was also another way?
We have been pondering on this over the last few weeks, *thinking hard*.
Could we also design a simple stand to display your postcard?
.
So after some bashing around, cutting stuff up, gluing things back together agin; we think we have come up with a solution to the problem, yay!

And that idea is a stand for your postcard by reusing our card wraps.
When we package your cards they will come with a card wrap keeping the card(s) and envelope(s) together. We use these wraps to remove as much plastic, in particular single-use plastic, from the packaging of our products.
Open this up and on the inside you will find there are instructions on how to turn this wrapper into a stand. Just pop it open and have a look. The only equipment you will need is a pair of scissors (borrow an adult to supervise if you are not one yourself).

But you are sending this card on to a friend or loved-one, aren't you?
The good news is we have also come up with a way to use the envelope to make the stand by cutting a strip off the bottom of the envelope. How crazy is that?

Other than that If you want to create your own, you can download and print out the template that we have created, follow the instructions printed on the template. Any paper will do, but thin card works best.
We hope you have fun making a stand for your card, but if it is a complete disaster, you can drop us an email jen@jenfirthdesigns.co.uk and we will be happy to help.
